7 inch Installation Kit for Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Type 940) from 2013- and newer

This 7-inch installation kit for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta model year 2013- and younger, lets you easily install the Alpine head units iLX-702D and INE-W720D / INE-W710D.

This kit comes with all required installation parts such as wiring harness, CAN bus interface, installation brackets, antenna adapter with phantom feed, power quadlock adapter and trim panel.

The CAN Interface allows to control the vehicle settings from the Alpine unit, similar to the original system. This makes installation much easier and allows usage of the steering wheel control buttons and vehicle information display with your Alpine product.

Also it includes an adapter that connects the original Alfa Romeo USB / AUX port in the dashboard with your Alpine system to maintain these useful connectors.

The KIT-7AR-940, combined with the new iLX-702D and INE-W720D / INE-W710D brings the latest media compatibility, DAB+, online navigation capability and Alpine’s audiophile sound quality, lets you use Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on the 7-inch high-resolution touch screen. INE-W720D / INE-W710D, additionally offers cutting edge navigation including turn-by-turn arrow guidance in the multi-function display.

Designed for Alfa Romeo Giulietta

The KIT-7AR-940 is exclusively designed to fit into the Alfa Romeo Giulietta from 2013- and newer which had the originale U-Connect system installed. The Alpine Audio Video Navigation Systems must be bought separatly.

Supports basic functions of original Alfa Romeo Giulietta Steering Wheel Control Buttons

The Alpine system is connected to your Alfa Romeo Giulietta steering wheel control buttons. This means you do not lose this convenient feature when upgrading to Alpine and you will have control over volume, phone (hook on/off), audio track forward/backward and many other commands. You can even activate the voice assistant of your connected smartphone.

 

Alfa Romeo Giulietta – Vehicle Settings

The interface included in the kit, translates the CAN-BUS signals, providing all the power needed to operate the system, the reversing signal for an optional rear view camera. It also allows access to the vehicle setting menu directly from the touch menu. If the parking sensors are present, the sound is maintained and the sensors shown in the Alpine display.

Retain the original USB / AUX inputs of your Alfa Romeo Giulietta

The included USB / AUX adapter maintains the functionality of the sockets on the dashboard.

Rear View Camera

A rear view camera is a great way to make parking maneuvers easier. KIT-7AR-940 allows you to see both the parking sensors and the rear view camera (if connected) in a single screen. Through the KCX-C250MC interface it will be possible to have a front and a rear camera, also in multiview models, HCE-C2100RD and HCE-C2600FD).
